As 2025 comes to a close, it’s a good moment to reflect on what’s been achieved, and what’s coming next.
At Avocet Battery Materials, this year has been about building momentum. From scaling production of our Flyweight bimetallic tab to developing custom pouch cell tab solutions for customers across electric vehicles, aerospace, defence, and energy storage, we’ve taken meaningful steps forward in how we serve high-performance battery manufacturers.
Our focus remains clear: to provide the materials and components that support better cell performance, lower system weight, and faster paths to production, and to do it with responsiveness, technical precision, and trust.
Looking Back on a Productive Year
In 2025, we were proud to:
- Launch Flyweight into commercial projects, with strong traction in the EV and eVTOL space
- Exhibit for the first time at The Battery Show North America, connecting with teams working at the forefront of electrification
- Invest in new tooling and process improvements at our UK facility
- Support a growing number of R&D and production teams with custom-engineered pouch cell tab solutions
- We’re ending the year on a high, with several ongoing partnerships and customer projects carrying us into Q1 with energy and focus.
